“Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2007” (9 p.m., TBS): Yes, we know that all of you DVR owners love to whiz past the ads, but you might be missing some good stuff. “Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2007” is a clip fest celebrating the most clever and humorous ad spots from the United States and around the world. Also, host Kevin Nealon will reveal the commercial fans voted as the very best.

“Kennedy Center Honors” (9 p.m., CBS): For the 30th year, the Kennedy Center pays homage to a handful of iconic names from the performing arts. Pianist and conductor Leon Fleisher, comedian Steve Martin, singer Diana Ross, director Martin Scorsese and musician Brian Wilson are this year’s recipients of the awards signifying their career contributions to entertainment. The ceremony, hosted by Caroline Kennedy and taped Dec. 2, includes tributes by Steve Carell, Francis Ford Coppola, Robert De Niro, Cameron Diaz, Art Garfunkel, Lyle Lovett, Martin Short, Vanessa Williams and Yo-Yo Ma.
