Ohio State president Gordon Gee announced that Peter Weiler is the university’s new senior vice president for university development.
Weiler is coming to Ohio State from Penn State University, where he serves as vice president for development and alumni relations. He’s expected to start his new job early next year.
Weiler will oversee all of Ohio State’s fundraising efforts and initiatives and will serve as president of The Ohio State University Foundation.
