Woman dies of injuries from head-on crash

YOUNGSTOWN — A Boardman woman involved in a head-on crash with an ambulance died Wednesday from injuries caused in that accident.

Candice Cole, 33, of Wolosyn Circle, died at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Cole was driving on Poland Avenue on Dec. 13 when she swerved into oncoming traffic. She collided with a LifeFleet ambulance. No serious injuries were reported for the two-person ambulance crew.
