Poland teen charged after threat to kill at high school

POLAND — A Poland Seminary High School sophomore is charged with disorderly conduct after a teacher overheard a comment he made, Poland Township police reported.

Police were called at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday after the teacher reported the comment to the assistant principal, police said.

The 15-year-old boy said the commons area at the school would be the place to kill the most people, police said.

The superintendent of schools could not be reached Wednesday to comment.
