• Salvation Army Thrift Store in Austin Center, Mahoning Avenue, Austintown, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. A variety of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and bric-a-brac is available at bargain prices.

SHOWS

• Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church, 626 Wick Ave., Youngstown, next to the Arms Museum, is having a Christmas concert Friday. The chamber choir Caedonia, from Sibiu, Romania, will perform. The choir was founded in 1969, and it has held concerts all over the world as ambassador of Sibiu, the European Capital of Culture for 2007. A meal will be served from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., and from 7:30 to 8:30 the concert will be performed in English and Romanian. Donations will be accepted. For more information, call (330) 746-5397.
