Coo Clocks provide
whimsy and the time

You don’t have to be 5 years old to enjoy the whimsical Coo Clocks, but they are designed with kids in mind.

Breathing new life into the cuckoo clocks of yesteryear, inventor Dan Koval uses classic farmyard animals and jungle-theme characters to give the clocks personalities.

The newest addition is MewCoo, the cat that pops out the clock’s front door and sounds a hearty “meow.”

A light sensor shuts off the character when the room turns dark, so you don’t have to worry about kids waking up.

Nine other characters — cow, horse, pig, chicken, dog, sheep, donkey, elephant and monkey — are part of the lineup. Made of plastic, they run on batteries.

Cost is $49.99; available at www.headsupco.com/clocks or call (866) 239-2236.
