Man found lying on the street, shot dead

YOUNGSTOWN — A man in his mid-20s was found shot dead on Bruce Street, just north of Shehy Street, around 12:05 a.m. today, police said. A passerby who saw the body in the roadway called police. First officers on the scene said the victim was bleeding profusely from the left neck/head area. No bullets, shells or casings were found. His name was expected to be released later today by the coroner.
