Ambulance-car crash hospitalizes one

YOUNGSTOWN — A car driven east on Poland Avenue this morning went left of center and struck a LifeFleet ambulance head-on, said Detective Sgt. Rob Deichman, an accident investigator. Deichman said the woman driver of he car was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center. Her name was not immediately available. No serious injuries were reported for the two-person ambulance crew.
