Hillside welcomes public to Christmas Wonderland

WARREN — Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, 8747 Squires Lane N.E., is the site where more than 100 holiday trees, wreaths and arrangements form Christmas Wonderland.

The decorations are part of Hillside’s annual holiday raffle to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

All items on display throughout the main lobby, outpatient waiting area and main hallways were decorated and donated by employees, former patients and community businesses.

A committee of Hillside employees plans and coordinates the raffle, which began 15 years ago for the enjoyment of patients and visitors as well as a way to raise funds for Relay for Life.

Christmas Wonderland is open to the general public from noon to 8 p.m. daily until Jan. 3, 2008. Raffle tickets can be purchased in the main lobby, outpatient lobby and gift shop for $1 each or $5 for six tickets.

The drawing will take place Jan. 3. For more information, call Betsy Daly at (330) 841-3893.
