POLAND

Dec. 4

Theft: A Morse Place woman found out someone made four withdrawals from her account, apparently online, with her debit card number.

Dec. 7

Identity fraud: A Colonial Estates Drive woman noticed her automated-teller-machine card was missing and learned it was used fraudulently at several businesses.

BOARDMAN

Dec. 6

Felonious assault: Two Boardman men, 18 and 25, surrendered to police and were charged with felonious assault and assault, respectively, related to a November incident in which a Canfield man reported being pushed to the ground and punched in the face at a Boardman sports bar.

Domestic violence: A 27-year-old Austintown woman surrendered on a warrant from Boardman charging her with the crime. Earlier, a Mathews Road family member reported being punched in the nose.

Theft: Three Youngstown women, 26, 30 and 43, faced charges of theft and theft by deception after $757 worth of electronics equipment was stolen from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.

Dec. 7

Forgery: A Poland man at a Karago Drive business discovered someone had created a counterfeit check with his information and forged his signature.

Theft: A Warren man, 23, was charged after $59 worth of merchandise was taken from Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.

Theft: Officers charged a 41-year-old Campbell man accused of stealing $51 worth of electronics items from Wal-Mart.

Criminal mischief: An Overhill Road man found damage to two outdoor Christmas lights.

Criminal damaging: A Sequoya Drive woman found four slashed tires and a broken passenger-side rear window on her vehicle.

Criminal damaging: A man in the 200 block of Erskine Avenue reported two inflatable Christmas decorations in his yard were vandalized.

Burglary: A woman staying at a Market Street motel told police her room had been entered and that numerous medications were stolen.

Theft: A 14-year-old New Castle, Pa., boy faced charges of theft and possession of criminal tools. He was accused of taking four video games and an MP3 player from Best Buy, 561 Boardman-Poland Road.

Theft: A Youngstown woman accused her former husband of stealing a $60 cell phone from her son, of Trenholm Road.

Theft: Two pieces of merchandise were stolen from Dot’s Clothing, 339 Boardman-Canfield Road.

Dec. 8

Arrest: Police picked up a 19-year-old Youngstown man at the Southern Park Mall. He was wanted on a warrant charging him with probation violation.

Theft/drugs: An East Liverpool woman, 33, faced charges of theft and drug abuse after $930 worth of merchandise was stolen from Macy’s in the Southern Park Mall, and after police said they found in her purse two types of pills in one bottle.

Theft: A woman reported the theft of a package containing a $300 digital camera from her Lemans Drive residence.

Theft: A Canfield man reported a $1,000, 12-gauge pump shotgun stolen while at a Boardman-Poland Road business.

Bad check: A check written on a closed account was presented at Hobby Lobby Creative Center, 472 Boardman-Canfield Road.

Theft: Someone stole 27 pairs of men’s jeans from Old Navy Clothing Store, 377 Boardman-Poland Road.

Theft/criminal damaging: A Boardman woman discovered a window to her vehicle had been broken. Stolen were a stereo, speakers and an amplifier.

Theft: A woman shopping at a Doral Drive store discovered two credit cards and a driver’s license missing from her purse.

Dec. 9

Theft: Police arrested an 18-year-old Campbell woman on a theft charge after five pieces of merchandise valued at a total of $30 were stolen from Wal-Mart.

Forgery: A worker for a Boardman-Canfield Road store told police a McDonald woman was the victim of forgery and a bad check.

Theft: A rear license plate was removed from a car in the 7300 block of West Boulevard.

Criminal damaging: A man in the 100 block of North Cadillac Drive reported vehicle damage was done to a light post and a portion of his yard.

Criminal damaging: A side window sustained $50 of damage at a Bonnie Place apartment.

Burglary: Someone broke into an apartment in the 4900 block of Brookwood Road and removed copper piping.

Theft: Officers arrested an 11-year-old boy at his Boardman home on a theft charge. An investigation revealed he was involved in the theft of a video game system and video games from two people, police said.
