Dec. 6

Drugs: A 19-year-old Canfield woman was arrested during a traffic stop on West Main Street on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found OxyContin and marijuana on her.

Assault: Two teaching aides at Hilltop Elementary School, 400 Hilltop Boulevard, reported that on the previous Friday a 10-year-old male student pushed one female aide and punched the other aide on the lower lip and chin in a classroom at the school.

Dec. 3

Theft: $30.01 in fuel was stolen from the BP gas station, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Drug offense: A New Castle, Pa., man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana at state Route 46 and Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A comforter was stolen from Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A debit card was stolen at Send It Packing Plus, 4496 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A maroon 1991 Chevrolet Caprice was stolen from the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Burglary: Jewelry and medication were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Identity theft: A man’s brother used his identification on a traffic stop on Kirk Road.

Drug offense: A McDonald man was arrested on possession of marijuana on Interstate Boulevard.

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle: Reported at a home in the 3000 block of Ayrshire Drive.

Theft: A purse was stolen from a shopping cart at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A Gateway laptop computer was stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Laurie Drive.

Theft: $20 in fuel was taken from a B.P. Gas station, 5502 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A boy was arrested in a theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Sugar was put in a gas tank in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Dec. 6

Theft: Two wheel carts and pop were stolen from the 7-Up Bottling Co., 1142 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: Three girls were caught stealing at Wal-Mart.

Dec. 7

Theft: A gas drive-off of $35.43 was reported at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A man was issued a summons for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A woman was arrested for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Five snow blowers and a trailer were taken at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A Dell laptop computer was stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Pineridge Court.

Forgery: A check for $150 was written by a man at the Seven-Seventeen Credit Union, 6460 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A purse was stolen from a cart at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A PlayStation was stolen from an apartment in the 50 block of Westminister Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the 7000 block of Berry Blossom Drive.

Dec. 9

Drug offense: A Warren man was arrested and issued a summons on charges of drug abuse marijuana, and a Youngstown woman was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia at Kirk Road and Vollmer Drive.

Criminal damaging: A fence was painted with a swastika at a home in the 300 block of Forest Hill Drive.
