Austintown OKs abatement for InfoCision

AUSTINTOWN — InfoCision, which is planning a large addition on its Interstate Boulevard building, has won township trustees’ recommendation for a tax abatement.

The recommendation to the Mahoning County commissioners, which they will hear Thursday, calls for a 60 percent 10-year abatement.

The addition, 23,000 square feet according to a zoning document, will double the size of the Austintown call center, said Steve Brubaker, senior vice president of corporate affairs for InfoCision.

The estimated $2,852,000 addition will include 26 rooms, zoning documents indicate.
