Boardman band set for Citrus, Macy’s parades

ORLANDO, Fla. — Some 236 members of the Boardman Spartan Marching Band from Boardman High School will march in the 27th annual Orlando Citrus Parade on Dec. 29.

The following day, the band will march through Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, and the high school’s Jazz Ensemble 1 will play at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. On New Year’s Day, the band will march in Universal Studios’ Macy’s Holiday Parade. The band’s Orlando Citrus Parade appearance will be broadcast at 3 p.m. Dec. 30 on WYTV Channel 33 in Youngstown.
