“Holiday in Handcuffs” (8 p.m., ABC Family): A lovelorn waitress (Melissa Joan Hart) kidnaps a handsome guy (Mario Lopez) and brings him home to her parents at Christmas, hoping they’ll believe the two are happily coupled. June Lockhart and Markie Post also star.

“Dino Death Trap” and “Dino Autopsy” (8 p.m., National Geographic Channel): These back-to-back dinosaur specials could rock your world.

At 8 p.m., “Dino Death Trap” uncovers a mass grave of mysterious, well-preserved dinosaur skeletons that offers a journey back to the Jurassic period and earlier. In the desolate Junggar Basin in Northwestern China, dinosaur skeletons are entombed stacked four and five deep, frozen in time for 160 million years. Among the finds: T. Rex’s great-great-grandfather, a swift, meat-eating raptor called Guanlong. What killed him and his unfortunate tombmates? Following at 9 p.m., a discovery in “Dino Autopsy” promises to transform much of what scientists believe about dinosaurs. The prize: a virtually intact dino mummy. Nearly everything known about dinosaurs comes from bones and teeth, usually the only tissue durable enough to fossilize. The conditions that preserve this extraordinary mummy are one in a million, and early examination offers never-before-seen details of what this creature really looked like, as well as clues to how it moved about and lived.

“Arctic Exposure With Nigel Marven” (8 p.m., Animal Planet): For nine months, zoologist Nigel Marven trailed wildlife in the Canadian Arctic, including beluga whales, caribou and newborn harp seals. This five-part view of life in the frozen tundra includes footage of Marven diving from an iceberg to swim with walruses, as well as shots of polar bears fresh from their birthing den.

“Spike TV’s Video Game Awards 2007” (9 p.m., Spike TV): For the fifth year, the best of video gaming takes the spotlight as the annual awards ceremony returns to Las Vegas. Industry experts determine the winners in such categories as best military game, best team sports game and, of course, game of the year.

“For One More Day” (9 p.m., ABC): Some find Mitch Albom’s books to be way too sweet and sappy. Apparently, Oprah Winfrey doesn’t. Her latest movie presentation is “For One More Day,” an adaptation of Albom’s book about a suicidal, alcoholic ex-baseball player (Michael Imperioli) who is visited by his late mother (Ellen Burstyn). Think “It’s a Wonderful Life” with bats and balls.

“1968 With Tom Brokaw” (9 p.m., History Channel): The veteran newsman examines one of the most turbulent years in American history — a year that saw the assassinations of Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy, riots at the Democratic National Convention and war in Vietnam. Among those interviewed: Arlo Guthrie, Pat Buchanan, Andrew Young and Bruce Springsteen.

“What’s With That Really Decked Out Christmas House” (9 p.m., HGTV): A tour of homes whose outdoor decor would make the Griswolds jealous.

“An Accidental Christmas” (9 p.m., Lifetime): Two kids concoct a plan to bring their separated parents (David Milbern and Cynthia Gibb) together for a holiday reunion.
