Boys and Girls Club to host holiday gala

YOUNGSTOWN — The Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown will host a Holiday Gala in the Gardens from 5 to 10 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park.

Planned as a fundraiser for the less fortunate of the community, the event will include hors d’oeuvres, foods, wines, microbrews, desserts and entertainment. There will also be silent, live and Chinese auctions for such items as a large selection of decorative wreaths.

Musical entertainment will be by the Nevels Sisters and a jazz ensemble of Youngstown State University orchestra students.

Among those greeting guests will be Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik, U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, Mayor Jay Williams and the hosts for the evening, A.C. McCullough and Kelly Stevens of HOT-101 Morning Show.
