Gas prices in Salem remain below $3 a gallon

SALEM — Gasoline prices remained stable today in Salem, where they have dropped significantly in the past two weeks.

Stations were charging between $2.69 and $2.72 a gallon, according to station managers and Ohiogasprices.com. Those prices remained consistent with what stations were charging Tuesday.

Stations in other parts of the Mahoning Valley are charging about $3 a gallon. Ohiogasprices.com, which uses prices reported by drivers, lists Salem as having the lowest gas prices in the state.
