HADLEY, Pa. — The American Red Cross is assisting a Perry Township family whose home was damaged by fire this evening.

Multiple fire agencies responded to an emergency call from 1225 Fredonia Road about 9 p.m., according to a Mercer County 911 dispatcher. Occupants were evacuated without injury, he said.

The house sustained “extensive damage,” according to reports. The state fire marshal will be investigating the cause of the fire, though foul play is not suspected, according to reports.
