Area band students invited to perform

WARREN — Warren Junior Military Band is inviting area band students between the ages of 12 and 19 to participate in an Honors Band Weekend.

A meeting of the musicians will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the band room at Liberty High School and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Aristocrat Hall, corner of Belmont and Francisca avenues in Youngstown.

A free public Santa Concert will be presented by the band at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Aristocrat Hall and Santa will be on hand to distribute toys to kids.
