DiEugenio nets 24, Lordstown jolts J-M
LORDSTOWN — Lordstown High School rushed out to a 22-9 lead in the first quarter and went on to post a 91-75 victory over Jackson-Milton in a boys basketball game Saturday.
The unbeaten Red Devils (2-0) were sparked by Jake DiEugenio with 24 points. Greg Crively added 15 and Nate Rech had 13.
Bobby Schnellbach and Ben Carlisle each scored 18 points for Jackson-Milton (0-3). Jeff Balent chipped in with 14 and Tim Ensign had 11. Schnellbach pulled down eight rebounds and Jeff Balent had five steals.
