BAZAARS

• Meridian Arms, 650 S. Meridian Road, has scheduled a Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. The bazaar will feature crafts, a garage sale, a bake sale, a Chinese auction and lunch for sale. All proceeds directly benefit the residents through the activity fund.

CRAFT SHOWS

• Clarks Mills United Methodist Church, 3813 Hadley Road, Clarks Mills, Pa., is sponsoring a craft, bake and rummage sale and Chinese auction Saturday. More than 40 vendors will sell Christmas decorations, toys, jewelry and household items. Homemade soups, pies sandwiches will be available for lunch, and soup will also be sold by the quart. FUNDRAISERS

• Warren Junior Women’s League and the Creek Foundation will host a two-week fundraiser with the proceeds going to Hospice of the Valley. For each Stella Artois beer purchased from Thursday through Dec. 15 at Up a Creek, 4793 E. Market Street, Howland, the local distributor will donate a dollar and the Creek Foundation at Up a Creek will match that dollar.

SALES

• Coitsville Presbyterian Church, 91 Coitsville-Hubbard Road, Youngstown, will hold a garage sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. A light lunch of soup and sandwiches will be available, and soup can be purchased by the quart.

• Salvation Army Thrift Store in Austin Center, Mahoning Avenue, Austintown, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. A variety of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and bric-a-brac is available at bargain prices.

• A calendar of activities to which the public is invited is published Monday. Please submit information to the Society Department by 5 p.m. Thursday.
