ROC center opens,
offers job services
YOUNGSTOWN — The ROC Resource Opportunity Center has opened at 211 Redondo Road. The center was opened by Flying High Inc. in partnership with Heart Reach Ministries and One Stop Workforce of Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana Counties.
The ROC provides employment services and training programs. Flying High is a community service organization that provides support, social service and recreational programs. The ROC is located at Heart Reach Ministries and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
Builders Association
plans annual meeting
YOUNGSTOWN — The Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania will hold its annual meeting at 4 p.m. Wednesday at The Youngstown Club. On the agenda is a report on 2007 activities, introduction of officers and the executive committee for 2008, and awarding of scholarships to four Youngstown State University students.
Barber reopens shop
YOUNGSTOWN — Bob Leonelli has reopened Bob’s Barber Shop at 3636 Shirley Road after returning from two years of living in Florida. Leonelli, 48, started working at Mike’s Barber Shop on South Avenue in 1981 and then opened up his own shop in 1997 by taking over the former Red’s Barber Shop. He is a graduate of Wilson High School and the Akron Barber College.
Chipotle schedules
grand-opening events
BOARDMAN — Chipotle Mexican Grill will hold grand-opening events Friday at its new restaurant at 525 Boardman-Poland Road. The restaurant, which offers burritos, salads and tacos, will be giving away shirts, hats and other items. Fundraising events will be held for Boardman High School’s athletic department from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and for Poland High School’s athletic department from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Chipotle, which is based in Denver, operates 670 restaurants nationwide.
WineStyles aims
to simplify buying
HOWLAND — WineStyles, a Florida-based retailer with 110 stores nationwide, has opened a wine store at 8208 E. Market St. WineStyles organizes its wine by color and style, instead of by variety and region, in an effort to simplify the wine buying. Most of its wines are priced at or below $25 per bottle. Mark Rhodes is the local franchisee.

AUSTINTOWN — NovaCare Rehabilitation has opened at 550 S. Canfield-Niles Road. NovaCare provides physical therapy, including back rehabilitation, aquatic therapy and evaluations for work conditioning and functional capacity. NovaCare is part of Select Medical Corp. of Mechanicsburg, Pa.
2nd term on board
SHARON, Pa. — Jane Roqueplot, president of JaneCo’s Sensible Solutions Career Services, has accepted a second term on the board of directors for Career Directors International. The international association provides resources and assistance for members who have career development, résumé-writing and employment practices. Roqueplot is a behavorial analyst, work-force development professional and career coach.
