Cobalt ranks low in review of most satisfying cars
The Chevrolet Cobalt is one of three General Motors cars that were named as the least satisfying small cars.
The Cobalt, which is produced at GM’s Lordstown complex, joined the Saturn Ion and Chevrolet Aveo at the bottom of an owner satisfaction survey by Consumer Reports magazine.
The Honda Fit and Volkswagen Rabbit were named the most satisfying small cars.
The magazine released its Most and Least Satisfying lists today. They will be published in its January issue, which goes on sale Tuesday.
The survey asks subscribers if they would buy the car or truck they own again, considering its price, performance, comfort, reliability and enjoyment. Subscribers rated their experiences with more than 415,000 vehicles.
Vehicles ranked as Most Satisfying were those for which at least 80 percent of owners said they would definitely buy or lease their vehicle again. The Least Satisfying vehicles were those for which less than 50 percent of owners said they would do so.
