NEOUCOM board adds trustee
YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown State University board of trustees appointed Dr. Dianne Bitonte Miladore of Canfield to serve on the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine board of trustees. She has been a member of the YSU board since May 2005.
Dr. Miladore, a lifelong resident of the Youngstown area, earned a bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from YSU and a medical degree as a member of the charter class of NEOUCOM. She completed residencies in emergency medicine at Akron General Medical Center and St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Toledo, where she was the physician in charge of the Life Flight Helicopter during her final year of residency. She worked as an emergency room attending physician at The Medical College of Ohio At Toledo, and at St. Elizabeth Health Center and Beeghly Urgent Care Center.
Miladore also has been active at NEOUCOM, where she has served as a clinical faculty member, a member of the Admissions Committee, the Academic Review Committee, and the Clinical Competency Assessment Medical Advisory Board.
At YSU, she is an active member of the President’s Council, a member of the board of trustees of YSU Housing Corp., a member of the College of Health and Human Services Board of Visitors, and the Penguin Club, serving as its president in 1996-97.
She and her husband, Dr. Michael J. Miladore, an orthopaedic surgeon in Youngstown, have three sons.
