Coldwater rallied from deficits of 14-0 (at halftime) and 21-7 (in the third quarter) with three unanswered touchdowns, then blocked the extra point following Mooney’s last-minute score, to stun the Cardinals 28-27.

The victory was the second in three years for Coldwater over Mooney in the state championship.
