YOUNGSTOWN — A .22-caliber revolver was found Thursday evening under the passenger seat of Buick traveling on Oak Hill Avenue without its headlights on, police said.
The passenger, a 16-year-old LaClede Avenue boy, was taken to the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center to face a charge of carrying a concealed weapon.
The 17-year-old driver, a Volney Road boy, was cited for driving with an expired temporary permit and failure to display headlights and released to his mother’s custody.
The Buick, which had a 30-day tag on it, was towed and held for a traffic investigator because two expired 30-day tags were found in the trunk.
