Boardman teens robbed by teens

BOARDMAN — Three teens told police they were robbed by three other teenagers as the walked along Shields Road.

The boys, two aged 16 and a 17-year-old, told police they were walking about 8 p.m.. Thursday on the road by Lemans Drive when they saw three other young men approach them on bicycles.

One of the suspects tripped one of the boys, pushed him to the ground and went through his pockets, removing a $20 bill.

The other two suspects, also described as teen-agers, went through the pockets of the other two boys, but they didn’t have any money.

The three bicyclists then left the area, headed east on Shields.
