‘Black Monday’ lecture set for Sept. 19

YOUNGSTOWN — On Sept. 19, the 30th anniversary of Black Monday, a lecture/panel discussion moderated by Sheri Linkin, a Youngstown State University professor, will be at 7 p.m. at the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor (steel museum), 151 W. Wood St. The Young Leaders Advisory Board, part of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, is hosting the event in partnership with YSU, Catholic Diocese of Youngstown and the steel museum.
