Popular TSO to start tour at the Chevy


The three shows in
Youngstown sold out in less than a week last year.

YOUNGSTOWN — Trans-Siberian Orchestra, one of the biggest arena attractions in rock music, will begin its 2007 holiday tour at Chevrolet Centre with four performances: 7 p.m. Nov. 1; 8 p.m. Nov. 2; and 3 and 8 p.m. Nov. 3.

Tickets for the Youngstown performances go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 6 via a special Internet presale sponsored by Clear Channel Radio.

Tickets can be ordered until 10 p.m. Sept. 9 by logging on to one of the following Web sites: wncd.com, mix989.com, 959kiss.com, wbbgfm.com,570wkbn.com and wnio.com.

Reserved tickets are $35.50 and $45.50.

On sale to public

Public sale will begin at 10 a.m. Sept. 10 online at livenation.com and gettix.net; in person at all gettix.net locations, including all Sparkle Markets in Youngstown, Niles and Columbiana, and the Chevrolet Centre box office; and by phone at (866) 443-8849.   

Last year, all three Youngstown performances sold out in less than a week.

This year’s TSO holiday tour will be its largest — more than 90 cities coast-to-coast over a 10-week period.

The 2006 tour was TSO’s most successful, playing to more than 1 million fans at 80 concerts. 

Established in 1996 by producer-composer Paul O’Neill, TSO has sold more than 5 million records.
