Fundraiser to be a cut above the rest

BOARDMAN — A Cut-a-thon/Call-a-thon will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 16 at Panache Hair Salon, 7301 West Blvd., as a fundraiser to help pay the medical expenses incurred by Lori Grisdale Marsh, who has leukemia.

During the event, minimum donations of $20 will be accepted for haircuts, and a variety of services will be available to those contributing to the fund. Among the special services will be hand, neck and shoulder massages, nail polish changes, waxing and paraffin wax treatments. Food will also be available.

A highlight of the fundraiser will be an auction for a wide variety of items, including autographed sports items, gift baskets, weekend getaways, full body massages, restaurant gift certificates and health-club memberships.
