XHUBBARD — Michelle Renee Chovan and Robert Joseph Wyant, both of 5700 Laskey Road, Rome, Ohio, were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 11 at St. Patrick Church.

The Rev. Timothy O’Neil officiated for the daughter of John and Barbara Chovan, 204 Maple Leaf Drive, and the son of Robert and Patricia Wyant, 3888 River Road, Perry.

A reception followed at the Radisson Ballroom in West Middlesex, Pa.

The couple honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The bride wore an ivory strapless gown that featured an embroidered and beaded bodice and champagne accents. Pleats at the back of the skirt flowed to a semicathedral train enhanced with champagne organza and beadwork.

Matrons of honor were Megan Mathieu and Nicole Holland. They wore taupe gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Debbie Schwartz, Melissa Holdford, Tammy Manzo and Laura Stefanick. Flower girl was Sophie Holland.

Shad Sungren was best man, and groomsmen were Aaron Schwartz, Ryan Mathieu, James Beardslee, Eric Schlauch, John Schlauch and Richard Holland.

Mrs. Wyant holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa., and is a third-grade teacher with the Madison School District in Madison.

Her husband graduated from Hocking College in Concord with an associate degree in wildlife management and is employed in construction with Gabor Enterprises in Perry.

They are living in Rome.
