Kids program will put focus on labor history

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Historical Center, 151 W. Wood St., will hold children’s events on Labor Day. Gallery tours at 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. will focus on labor history and immigration. In the classroom, learning stations will cover unions, labor songs and child labor. Tours and classroom activities will be no more than 40 minutes. Special reduced adult admission for this event is $6; admission for the child is a donation of a canned good for Second Harvest Food Bank. For further information, call (330) 743-5934.
