XGIRARD — Samantha Lynn Leskovec and Kristofer Paul Doran, both of 961 N. Highland Ave., were married at 2 p.m. July 7 at St. Rose Church by the Rev. Peter Haladej.

After a reception at Ciminero’s Banquet Hall in Niles, the couple left for a honeymoon in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

The bride is a daughter of Henry and Linda Leskovec, 869 Lawrence Ave., and the groom is a son of Paul and Linda Doran, 905 Dravis Ave.

The diamond-white gown worn by the bride was sleeveless and featured a V-neckline, an A-line skirt and a chapel train.

Black and white gowns were worn by Mandy Leskovec, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Angela and Jennifer DiPiero, Lora Doran, Lauren Jacobs, Erica and Shannon Leskovec and Lisa McConnell. Flower girls were Madison Leskovec and Emma McConnell.

Best men were Greg and Jeff Doran, and groomsmen were Sam Buonavolonta, Bob Essad, C.J. Lamancusa, Mike Leskovec, Eric Pellegrini and Vince Shirey. Ring bearers were Tyler Doran and Colin McConnell.

Mrs. Doran, a special-education teacher with Niles City Schools, earned a bachelor’s degree in education at Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a master’s in special education.

Mr. Doran received a bachelor’s in telecommunications from YSU and is pursuing a master’s in journalism and mass communications at Kent State University. He is a promotions producer at WYTV and a Sports Time Ohio feed producer for the Cleveland Indians.
