Press conference for valley leadership class

LIBERTY — The Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre will be the setting at 8 a.m. Sept. 7 for a press conference announcing Leadership Mahoning Valley’s (LMV) Class of 2008.

Youngstown State University Head Football Coach Jon Heacock will speak about the value of teamwork, ethics and dedication. Robert Faulkner Sr., LMV board president, will provide an overview of the program, and Brian Hughes, LMV Class of ’07, will deliver a message to the new class. Each member will be introduced by Karen Stacey, executive director .

At 9 a.m., the Class of ’08 will participate in CHAMPS (Challenge and Mutual Problem Solving), an experimental training program designed to develop leadership and team-building skills.
