XBOARDMAN — Nuptial vows were exchanged by Amy Hogan and Joshua Hoffman in the presence of Pastor Nathan Doyle as they were united in marriage during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony July 7 at Glenwood Christian Fellowship.

A reception was held at The Elm Tree in Struthers for the daughter of Deborah Valentino of Canfield and Ricky Raymond Sr. of Girard and the son of Thomas and Saundra Hoffman of Poland.

The couple have postponed their wedding trip to San Diego, Calif., and live in Struthers.

The bride wore a sheath gown of white net over satin designed with a V-neckline and extending to a semicathedral train.

Eggplant and platinum-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Kimberly Shoenberger, and the bridesmaids, Maria and Cynthia Raymond, sisters of the bride; Carey Hoffman; and the groom’s cousin, Kim Butch. Flower girls were the bride’s niece, Alycia Rowe, and the groom’s niece, Hannah Hoffman.

Jason Hoffman served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Louis Slepski; Ricky Raymond, the bride’s brother; John Bradley; and Douglas Butch, the groom’s cousin. Ring bearer was the bride’s son, Derek Guzzo.

Mrs. Hoffman graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She is a case manager with Community Corrections Association in Youngstown.

Mr. Hoffman is a relationship manager with Key Bank in Boardman. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at YSU.
