Tony Cario, staff director for the senior citizens advisory council, the volunteer group that sifted through the dozens of funding requests and advised the Trumbull County commissioners on which ones to fund, said four non-SCOPE centers also are adding programming with their new funding. The four and the amounts they received are:
West Farmington Senior Center, 150 College St., (330) 889-2733: $42,240.
Girard Multi-Generational Center, 443 Trumbull Ave., (330) 545-6596: $90,000.
Newton Falls Senior Center, 50 E. Quarry St., (330) 872-5261: $37,440.
Bristolville Senior Center, 443 Hyde Oakfield Road, (440) 437-6311: $11,649.

New SCOPE locations. Telephones have not yet been installed:
Lordstown: In the Gordon D. James Career Center, open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Champion: In the Champion Plaza, open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Cortland: At 160 High St., next to Dairy Queen, open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting Sept. 9.
