Nice weather predicted for the Canfield Fair

CANFIELD — “That’s what we call perfect fair weather.”

The comment from Bev Fisher, the Canfield Fair manager, came after being told of the weather forecast for the fair. The event opens Wednesday and runs through Monday.

“Weather plays a big part in getting people here,” she said. “We find it important, but beyond our control.”

It’s looking like Wednesday, opening day, may be the only possibility for uncomfortable weather at the fair, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday’s high temperature will be in the upper 80s or as much as 90 degrees with a chance of rain.

There is no rain in the forecast between Thursday morning and the fair’s final day, Monday.
