XBOARDMAN — T.J. Koniowsky and his bride, the former Lisa Shannon, live at 2557 Chestnut St., Girard, after their marriage July 21 at Bethel Lutheran Church,

The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony officiated by Bret Rizzo and were honored at a reception at The Embassy in Youngstown before leaving for a honeymoon at Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Parents of the bride are Tom and Carol Shannon, 560 Judith Lane, Struthers, and the groom’s parents are Tom and Debby Koniowsky, 812 Iowa Ave., McDonald.

The bride’s strapless white satin gown featured a beaded lace corset-style bodice, a pickup skirt and a chapel train.

Wearing pool-blue gowns were the honor attendant, Lisa Kalbasky, and the bridesmaids, Jenn Debrosse; Jenn Gavalier; Stacy Smith; Kelly Hellman and Erin Shannon, the bride’s cousins; and Crystal and Megan Shannon, her sisters-in-law. Flower girl was Brianna Shannon, her niece.

Andrew Scarmack performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Alex Edwards, John Schuller, Kevin Snyder, Andy Deniro, Jason Fuller and the bride’s brothers, David and Tom Shannon. Ring bearer was her nephew, David Shannon.

The bride is a physical therapist with Aspen Health Care in Kent. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a master’s degree in physical therapy.

The groom earned a master’s degree in educational administration at Ashland University and is a science teacher with Austintown Local Schools.
