XYOUNGSTOWN — Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park was the setting at 4:30 p.m. July 13 for the wedding of Laura Kathleen Frey, daughter of Lee and Laura Frey, 305 W. Main St., Canfield, and Matthew William French, son of Wayne and Angie French of Decatur, Ill.

Pastor Paul Burgeson officiated, and a reception followed at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitors Center in the park.

The couple honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico, and live in Westlake.

The bride’s strapless gown was enhanced with asymmetrical ruching at the waistline and was embellished with crystals on the skirt front and along the train.

Hot-pink gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Stacey Edwards and Abbey Erford, and the bridesmaids, Julie and Louise Frey, sisters of the bride; Ashlea Bennett; and Abby French, the groom’s sister.

Dr. Joshua French served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Daniel French, the groom’s brother; Daniel Dellenbaugh; Aaron Oden Weller, John Blankenship; and Dane Benson.

The bride is an intervention specialist with the Berea City School District. She earned bachelor’s degree in special education at Bowling Green State University and holds a master’s in teaching from Mary Grove College in Detroit.

The groom graduated from BGSU with a degree in business administration and is a sales representative with The Superior Beverage Group of Cleveland.
