James anniversary is celebrated at family reunion

XNORTH LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Marvin James of North Lima celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a family reunion held Aug. 11 at the South Range Pavilion.

Hosts for the event were the couple’s son and daughter-in-law, John and Kim James of North Lima, and their daughters, Dorothy James and Robin James, both of Boardman. Also participating were their grandchildren, Kelly and Jodi James of North Lima and Jordan James of Boardman.

The former Billie Sheely and Mr. James were united in marriage on Aug. 18, 1957, in Youngstown.

Mr. James served with the U.S. Marine Corps and retired in 1982 from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in Youngstown. Mrs. James was employed 18 years at Triangle Meats in Boardman.
