XAKRON — The Chapel was the setting at 5 p.m. July 27 as Pastor Mike Castelli officiated for the marriage of Heather Lynn Snyder, 545 Bobwhite Trail, and Alexander James Oris, 218 Ashlynn Court, Newton Falls.

A reception was held that evening at Guy’s Party Center to honor the daughter of Raymond and Linda Snyder, also of 545 Bobwhite Trail, and the son of Kathleen Oris, 964 Center St., Warren, and the late Frank Oris.

After returning from a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple live in Newton Falls.

The bride’s white, strapless A-line gown was adorned with crystals and featured a laced-up back.

Raspberry-pink gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Cari Mozingo, and the bridesmaids, Trudee Stopher; Crystal King; Michelle Wright, sister of the bride; and Kelly Dow, the groom’s sister. His cousin, Danielle Reyes, was the flower girl.

Serving as best man was Brad Dawson, and groomsmen were Greg Welch; Robbi Watson; Dave Wright, the bride’s brother-in-law; and Mike Dow, the groom’s brother-in-law. Ring bearer was the his cousin, Zachary Kimble.

The bride, who graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in education, is an English teacher at Kent Roosevelt High School.

The groom also received a bachelor’s in education from KSU and is a mathematics teacher at Grand Valley Middle School in Orwell.
