XBOARDMAN — The marriage of Dr. Elizabeth Ann Malys, 2335 Quarry Valley Road, Columbus, and Dr. Christopher Michael Clark, 5588 Linworth Road, Columbus, was solemnized by Deacon Mike Kacjancic and the Rev. Philip Rogers at 1:30 p.m. July 28 at St. Charles Church.

A reception was held at Antone’s Banquet Centre for the daughter of Joseph and Terry Malys, 819 Park Harbour Drive, and the son of Stanton and Patricia Clark, also of the Linworth Road address.

After a wedding trip to Sandals at St. Lucia, the couple live at 6313 Marsh Wren Drive, Columbus.

The bride’s strapless, mermaid-style gown of white beaded lace featured a cathedral train.

Kay Malys, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, wore a black gown, as did the bridesmaids, Julie Italiano, Pooja Misra, Kelly Moritz, Becky Whitney and Tracee Maxie. Flower girl was the bride’s cousin, Delia Walkowiec.

John Catalogna was best man, and groomsmen were Stanton Clark III, brother of the groom; John Hammond; Brian Syska; Jay Storey; and B.J. Balcik. Ring bearer was the groom’s cousin, Spencer Clark.

The bride, who will be known as Dr. Elizabeth Malys-Clark, graduated from Youngstown State University, and the groom graduated from Wright State University.

Both received their doctor of dental surgery degrees from Ohio State University Dental School and are dental residents with OSU Medical Center in Columbus.
