Dress code to be ‘Connection’ topic


YOUNGSTOWN — Madonna Chism Pinkard, host of “Community Connection,” will interview Youngstown City School Board member Katherine Hawks Haney and discuss a new initiative to help underprivileged children meet the school dress code, on Sunday’s show.

Also on the show, West Elementary Assistant Principal Dorothy Davis and school nurse Sheree Fitzpatrick will discuss their upcoming Community Health Fair.

Finallhy, Dr. Missa Murry Eaton, associate professor of psychology at Penn State-Shenango, will discuss parent child transitional issues with students starting school for the first time, going to high school and even college.

“Community Connection” airs at 6:30 a.m. on WFMJ Channel 21, and will be rebroadcast at 7 p.m. Wednesday on Time Warner Cable educational Channel 15 in Trumbull County.
