Armstrong says Internet and e-mail should be restored
BOARDMAN — Armstrong Cable said all of its estimated 15,000 customers in northeast Ohio who lost Internet and e-mail access Thursday should be back on line by around noon Friday.
Hardware failure around noon Thursday and again in the evening caused the service interruption, said David Wittmann, director of cable marketing for Armstrong.
Wittman said the hardware that broke down connects personal computers to the Armstrong system.
