Teens managing finances

YOUNGSTOWN — A nationwide survey reported only 57 percent of young adults who are entering college or whom are in their senior year of high school have an understanding of budgeting, credit usage, insurance, inflation and taxes. Warriors Inc. will offer a Financial Management Workshop on Aug. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hope Building, 2733 Market St. (next to Rite Aid). Topics include: spending wisely, keeping it together (budgeting), establishing credit, identity theft and benefits of savings. Registration is required. Call Dollaine Holmes at (330) 783-5440.
