Crawford-French reception to be at DeYor center

XMARINA DEL REY, Calif. — The engagement and upcoming marriage of Alice Katherine Crawford and Austin Darrell French III, both of Redondo Beach, Calif., are being announced by the bride-elect’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Crawford Jr. (the former Sharon Fritz of Youngstown) of Marina Del Rey.

Parents of the prospective groom are Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Mick of Sebring.

The couple will be married Oct. 6 in Youngstown. The ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Church, and their reception will follow at the DeYor Performing Arts Center at the Youngstown Symphony Center.

The bride-elect received a bachelor’s degree in interpersonal communications from Kent State University and earned a teacher certification at Mount Union College. She is pursuing a master’s degree at California State University.

The prospective groom graduated from KSU with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is a market director of sales for the Cintas Corp. in Orange County, Calif.
