Wedgewood Park friends plan event

AUSTINTOWN — Friends of Wedgewood Park Inc. have planned a benefit for the park that will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the park on Lancaster Drive.

Events and games have been planned and will be held throughout the day in celebration of Christmas, Halloween, Valentine’s Day and Easter. There will also be vendors and a Chinese auction.

Pony rides and a petting zoo will be available between 12:30 and 2 p.m.

Admission is $3 for children, who must be accompanied by an adult. There is no admission fee for adults. Proceeds will benefit the park.
