XSTRUTHERS — Nuptial vows were exchanged July 14 during a 2 p.m. ceremony at St. Nicholas Church as Christina Magyar and Rich Calve II were united in marriage by the Rev. Martin Celuch.

A reception was held that evening at The Elm Tree to honor the daughter of Phil and Linda Magyar of Summit Drive, Canfield, and the son of Rick and JoAnn Calve of Applewood Boulevard, Boardman.

The bride’s strapless A-line gown featured a fitted satin bodice with a beaded cuff at the neckline, a jeweled pool-colored sash and a chapel train.

Natalee Fehr was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Victoria Magyar, sister of the bride; Mandi Mitchell, the groom’s sister; and Rachel Mauger. They wore pool-colored gowns. Flower girls were the bride’s sister, Madelynn Magyar, and her godchild and cousin, Cara DeChurch.

Eric Skrinyer performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Dave Smith; Dave Schialdone; and the bride’s brother, Stephen Magyar. Ring bearer was the bride’s cousin, Alex DeChurch.

Mrs. Calve graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is a mathematics and science teacher with Symmes Elementary School in Riverview, Fla.

Mr. Calve, an accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Tampa, Fla., earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Youngstown State University.

After a honeymoon in Sarasota, the couple live in Riverview.
