XYOUNGSTOWN — The wedding of Candace Pipino, 8211 Cliffview Drive, Poland, and Corey Shaner, 170 Sandy Court, New Middletown, took place at 1:30 p.m. July 14 at St. Dominic Church. The Rev.James Sullivan officiated.

A reception was held at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman for the daughter of Joseph and Beth Pipino, also of the Poland address, and the son of Richard and Susan Shaner, 4261 Route 322, Knox, Pa.

After a honeymoon on the Hawaiian island of Maui, the couple live in New Middletown.

Alencon lace and a champagne sash enhanced the bride’s strapless A-line gown of ivory taffeta.

Wearing rose-colored gowns were the honor attendant, Nicole Lepore, and the bridesmaids, Deloran and Donielle Muransky, the bride’s cousins; Kim Cole; Natalie Briscoe; Jessica Hughes; Melissa Zandier; and the groom’s sister, Chelsey Shaner. Flower girls were the groom’s cousins, Taylor an Makenna Shaner.

Cody Shaner was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Adam Shaffer; Kyle McMunn, the groom’s cousin; Donny Pipino, the bride’s brother; Lou Jesiolkiewic; Donny Sampson; Ryan Rupert; and Adam Wollet. Ring bearer was Jonathan Shaner, the groom’s cousin.

The bride earned a master’s degree in speech/language pathology from Clarion University, where the groom received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is general manager with Maxim Staffing Solutions in Boardman.
