88-year-old man carjacked

YOUNGSTOWN – Police are looking for two thieves who robbed an 88-year-old man of $200 and his car during a carjacking.

The South Side man told police Sunday night that two men knocked on the door of his home looking for help claiming they had run out of gas. The victim offered to give them a ride to get gasoline.

After all of them got into his 2000 Ford Taurus, one of the men put a gun to the back of his head and ordered him to drive. At East Judson Avenue and Beechwood Place, the victim was ordered out of his car and thieves sped off after taking his wallet containing the money.
