Youngstown Christian (Div. VI)

Youngstown Christian (Div. VI)

Head Coach: Brian Marrow, first year

Coaching Staff: Juan Diaz, Jamie Fortune, Don Hernan, Rob Sylvester.

Outlook: Former Wilson coach Brian Marrow takes over for Eddy Witham, who guided the team through its first three years. The Eagles return most of their top players from last year's 6-4 team, including quarterback Randy Triplett, running back Toba Olarewaju and wide receivers Ed Gonda and Anthony LaGamba. Thirteen letter winners and 11 starters (five on offense, six on defense) are back. If Youngstown Christian can avoid injuries — depth is a concern — it could compete for the ESC title and a playoff berth.

Returning Lettermen: Olarewaju, Bell, Triplett, Sims, LaGamba, Shaw, Pecchia,
VanArsdale, Godfrey, Rojas, Yanno, Suszczynski, Echevestre, Perkins, Gonda.
